The Wright Stuff

New European Championship Wrestling cooperates very closely with The Wright Stuff – Pro Wrestling School run by the former pro and WCW superstar Alex Wright.

The internationally successful pro Alex Wright comes from one of Europe’s best-known wrestler families with a long tradition of pro wrestling.

His father Steve Wright was a multiple world champion and international star and active in pro wrestling for over two decades. Alex Wright’s uncle, Bernard Wright, can also look back on a remarkable career and many years of international wrestling experience.

The second-generation wrestler Alex Wright was the only German ever to become established in the USA in World Championship Wrestling, one of the world’s biggest wrestling leagues.

Alex Wright spent nine years of his career in the USA, competed worldwide exclusively for World Championship Wrestling and during this time succeeded in winning the prestigious titles of WCW World TV Champion, WCW World Cruiserweight Champion and WCW World Tag Team Championship.

Since the end of his active career, Alex Wright has made it his business to promote talented young European and especially German wrestlers and give them the opportunity of expert and professional wrestling training at his pro wrestling school.
His aim is to support talented young wrestlers and provide full training for them on their way to becoming pro wrestlers.
