The first event of New European Championship Wrestling (NEW) became a full success. On Sat, Oct 3rd 2009, about 500 enthusiastic fans filled the sold out Markgrafensaal in Schwabach.

In the opening match, Unique was able to defeat Kick Ass Jane via pin fall with a Fisherman's Suplex (Unique Style).
The second match was a "No Contest" between River Lynx and J.F. Frantic. Although he was at the venue, J.F. Frantic did not want to face River Lynx by leaving this short message: "J.F. Frantic will select the place and time for this fight himself!" Again, this was a proof for J.F. Frantic's unreasonable behaviour. Because of this behaviour, NEW Management is thinking about a possible suspension of this wrestler.

After J.F. Frantic's denial for the fight, River Lynx was challenged by an unknown spectator from the front row. River Lynx did not hesitate to accept the challenge and shortly after that, things were officially confirmed by NEW Office. Later, the unknown man from the front row gave NEW's management to understand that he is called "Hard Style".
In the second Fight of the evening, Tommy Blue Eyes was able to prevail against Hades Ladon in a very technical and fast battle because of a reverse decision.

In the third match of the event, it was now Hard Style vs. River Lynx. In a very even match, River Lynx was able to dominate at the end an was cheated out of his victory by Hard Style. After being tired of River Lynx' attacks, Hard Style decided to leave the ring and return to the dressing room. River Lynx was declared the winner by count-out. A rematch between these two athletes seems to be already emerging.

A hard and very intense fight with several high risk moves followed between Black Chain and Airstrike. In the event's fourth match none of the two sportsmen was able to capture a decisive win and the battle ended in a draw. Both wrestlers were put into the "Gratification Tag Team Match" by NEW official Alex Wright immediately after the bout had ended.
In the last singles match of the evening, two powerhouses faced each other. 925 Sterling Silver vs. V.I.P.. Being insidiously attacked before the ring of the bell, 925 Sterling Silver was in bad trouble from the very start. But 925 Sterling Silver still was able to force V.I.P. back and had several chances for a win over V.I.P.. The match ended with a swift block and reverse into the "V.I.P. Status" and a pinfall victory for V.I.P. over 925 Sterling Silver in the 11th minute of the bout.

The anxiously awaited main event of the show was set to be a six man tag because of the challenges during the event.
The teams consisted of Airstrike & River Lynx & Tommy Blue Eyes vs. Black Chain & V.I.P. & Hades Ladon. After 17 hard minutes, Tommy Blue Eyes was able to use a schoolboy to roll up V.I.P., who was distracted by two unknown wrestlers standing on the entrance way. Winners of the main event: Tommy Blue Eyes, River Lynx & Airstrike.
